Precast (GRC) Sand

GRC sand, used in the production of precast and GRC (Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete), is a high-purity, washed and screened silica-based fine aggregate. The correct particle-size distribution directly affects surface smoothness, demoulding quality and product durability.

Precast (GRC) Sand

In the production of GRC (Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete) panels, facade cladding, architectural elements and decorative building products, silica sand is used as the base aggregate. The particle-size distribution of the sand is critically important for surface smoothness and aesthetic appearance.

The silica sand used in precast concrete production increases mechanical strength with its high SiO₂ purity. The homogeneous grain structure obtained through a controlled screening process provides a smooth, high-quality appearance on the concrete surface. It prevents damage to the product during the demoulding stage.

In GRC and precast applications, sand that is clean and free of clay and dust reduces the risk of cracking in the final product and ensures a long service life.
