Silica Sand Product Description

Silica sand is a natural mineral sand known for its high silicon dioxide (SiO₂) content. It is screened and fractionated according to the intended application and brought to the desired particle size distribution. At Seyman Maden, the raw material is washed, dried and screened in our modern beneficiation and processing facilities to reach a controlled grain distribution and high purity levels.

We produce high-purity silica sand for water treatment, the glass industry, the foundry industry, construction, epoxy floor coatings, ceramics and industrial applications. Our filter silica sand products hold the TS EN 12904 certificate. This certificate confirms that we meet the chemical and physical safety criteria required for filter media used in drinking water treatment.

Every batch is subjected to laboratory analysis before shipment. Through quality control procedures such as sieve analysis, particle distribution testing, moisture measurement and chemical analysis, we maintain our production standards in every shipment. The raw material we extract from our own quarry is processed at our facility into products that fully comply with standards and meet the technical specifications of different industries.
