Riding Arena and Racecourse Sand
Riding arena sand is washed silica sand produced specifically for equestrian riding arenas, racecourse tracks and training areas. With its low dust content, high drainage capacity and shock-absorbing structure, it ensures the comfort and safety of horses.

In equestrian riding arenas, surface quality is critically important for the comfort, safety and performance of horses. Riding arena sand is silica sand that has undergone a special washing process with its dust and clay content minimised. When watered, it does not raise dust and creates a healthy environment.
Thanks to its high drainage capacity, it does not retain water after rain, quickly directs water to the lower layers and prevents mud formation. This property keeps the arena usable for a long time. Its shock-absorbing structure protects the joints and tendons of horses and improves their performance.
A riding arena floor is usually a multi-layer system: it consists of a compacted natural base, drainage lines, coarse and fine gravel layers, a geotextile separator and, on the top surface, a washed silica sand mixture approximately 5 cm thick. The non-slip nature of the sand allows horses to move safely without slipping.
