Filter Quartz Product Description

At Seyman Maden, we provide high-purity filtration solutions for drinking water and industrial treatment systems. Our filter silica sand products hold the TS EN 12904 certificate. This certificate confirms that our production processes meet the chemical and physical safety criteria required for filter media used in drinking water treatment.

Thanks to its high SiO₂ content, filter quartz is chemically stable and enables the effective retention of fine particles from the water within the filter bed. Its homogeneous particle size distribution allows the water to pass through the filter bed evenly and in a controlled manner. This homogeneity delays clogging, preserves filter bed efficiency for longer and provides faster cleaning during backwashing.

In Seyman Maden production, the products are washed, dried and screened, then classified in a controlled manner. Every batch is subjected to laboratory analysis before shipment. Through quality control procedures such as sieve analysis, particle distribution testing, moisture measurement and chemical analysis, we maintain our production standards in every shipment.

Our filter sand, filter gravel, filter anthracite and filter garnet products are used together in water treatment and filtration applications to form multi-layer filtration systems.
